Exterior
The current owner acquired this boat in 2023 and now operates it as a charter fishing boat. The previous owner was an elderly gentleman who used the boat only occasionally in the immediate vicinity of the Seto Inland Sea; as a result, it shows very little wear for its age, and the hour meter reading at the time was reportedly just 1,733 hours.There is a photo of the hour meter from that time. Front Deck
It’s a sturdy deck. A casting deck has been added, and the tall handrails were custom-made. The owner was concerned about the uneven paint finish and had considered improving the appearance by applying Takistron or repainting it, but since the next owner’s preferences might differ, he has deliberately left it as is.
EX40 Bridge
The previous owner reportedly mounted an EX40 bridge onto a DE40 hull, which was ordered when the boat was new. Spacious side deck—fishing is possible here as well. The caulking around the windows was reportedly recently replaced. The windshield wipers are in working order. The searchlight, navigation lights, and four LED lights on the Senkaku are all operational. The Starlink antenna is not included. Next to the rear door is the galley, where the air conditioner’s outdoor unit is neatly recessed.
Wide Cabin
Since it features the EX40’s wide bridge, the cabin is spacious, allowing everyone to sit safely while traveling to fishing spots. It’s a comfortable space equipped with air conditioning and a microwave. These are powered by an inverter (a portable battery is not included).
Cockpit
The autopilot, triple remote controls, radar, and VHF radio have all been newly installed. Additionally, it is equipped with nearly all the professional-grade instruments necessary for recreational fishing, such as a GPS fishfinder. At the time of our inspection, the hour meter read a solid 3,885 hours.

Aft Deck
The aft deck is quite spacious. The surface is very sturdy. There is also a fish hold here. The handrails on both sides have just been installed. A 50-liter fresh water tank is installed under the hatch.

Since the boat is used for charter fishing, the oil and filters are changed regularly. Because it has been used so little, there have been no problems so far; it doesn’t smoke, doesn’t burn oil, and seems to be running well. Apparently, it has reached a top speed of 30 knots, but it usually cruises at around 20 knots. The previous owner was an elderly gentleman who only used the boat occasionally for very short trips, so the engine had logged just 1,733 hours by the time I acquired it.
